Meeting at Bob's Mountaineer to discuss the possibility of starting a church in Seymour

First meeting in library on January 27, 2008 with 47 in attendance.

The Nashville Road Church of Christ of Nashville TN began the work in Seymour in 2008. The first meeting was held in the back room of the Seymour library on January 27, 2008. There were approximately 47 members in attendance for the first service.

Evangelist Tim Shoulders lead the first worship service.  After a few months there, we were forced to leave the library and we began to have services in one of the attending family’s home. 

Shortly after that we found a location on Boyd's Creek in Emert's Plaza and began to have morning services as well as evening services, along with Bible classes for everyone. 

Tom Miller has been serving as the full time minister since September 1st, 2013.

In September of 2014 we purchased a building on Business Park Ln where we are currently meeting.  Since then we have installed elders and deacons. 

In 2022 we purchased the land next door.  Our goal is to expand on the new lot.  

The Lord has truly blessed us in the Seymour location.
